探究石材何去何从,洞察市场与行业变迁,2023年6月5-8日,第二十三届中国厦门国际石材展将在厦门国际会展中心隆重举行。


作为全球石材行业盛会,厦门国际石材展一直是新时代全球石材行业的重要风向标,也是企业寻求合作、对外交流的重要窗口。


双循环新格局下,上下游全产业链,建筑、设计圈,跨界平台机构将齐聚厦门,共同关注、探讨并推动石材行业高质量发展。


2023年,厦门国际石材展特别推出人居空间设计展“石无限 x 设计新石器” 主题展两大特展版块。


其中,人居空间设计展由设计行业领袖梁志天担任主策展人,联盟业内赖旭东、杜恒、刘姮、刘道华、张力、朱晓鸣、赵益平、何永明、沈烤华等多位设计精英人物共同策展,在设计中解构石材,以生活定义石材。


与之相邻的“石无限 x 设计新石器” 主题展将由90后新锐设计师王树茂担任主策展人,通过链接新锐设计师资源与石材厂商,促进石材行业向新发展。


从空间到产品,从设计到场景,两大特展分别对材料应用趋势以及材料产品趋势进行创研,激活石材新生,助力产业升级。

石材作为大自然的馈赠,在建筑、艺术领域都有得天独厚的优势。


国内市场中,石材主要应用于建筑内外装饰板建筑用石以及石雕、刻石艺术品等领域


受室内装修需求影响,石材在日常家居环境中的使用频率越来越高。


据统计,中国装饰装修业产值,目前占国家总GDP的15%左右;未来国内石材年消费量不低于2.6亿平方米。由此可见“石材”将成为国内消费市场中的潜力股,以惊人的数字持续增长。



然而,传统石材在家装家饰领域的应用方式,已经难以满足新生代消费群体的生活习惯与审美需求,这也让众多石材企业难以突破自身的瓶颈,获得新的增长点,甚至停滞不前。


传统石材企业该怎样精准有效的找到转型升级的办法与路径,以刷新市场对于石材的刻板印象,抢滩更广阔的蓝海?


设计师该如何链接高品质的材料商与制造商,从而让好设计落地生根,实现自己的设计愿景?


亟需相互赋能的双方,将在“石无限 x 设计新石器” 主题展中,收获走进彼此的最佳机会。


拥有创造力与把控力的设计师们,将在特展中释放设计的价值——重新利用石材,在经过无数次推敲与实验后,向外界呈现有厚度、易实现的创作想法,表达“石”的无限可能

当“设计”成为一种媒介,“环保”成为一种理念企业如何依托设计进行转型,设计师又如何链接制造,实现创意落地

总体来看,尽管国内家具行业蓬勃发展,但由于受限于行业存在的试错成本、固有模式,以及对设计理解偏差等影响,独立设计师与工厂之间的对接,仍存在很多问题与难点。

除了呈现100件原创石材相关产品,展现最强创意大脑下所产生的可塑性与多样性,重塑石材的无限可能之外。

 

“设计新石器”的核心价值还在于促进创意成交:设计师在给企业提供创意灵感的同时,还提供创意解决方案,通过精准匹配创意设计师资,为石器本身的应用与产品升级构建更多创意模型。

 

只有能落地的创意才可能变成好的产品,而好的产品又将不断提升企业的价值。因此,这不仅仅是一次展览,还是一次设计师与厂家双向赋能的生态闭环实验


在未来,本着倡导可持续环保的设计理念,通过Femo Design的持续运营,“石无限 x 设计新石器”将会成为国内外石器新品首发平台以及链接设计与产业的重要通道。

全新主题概念的形象设计灵感来源于石材加工原理——石材原石通过机器切割加工,会在原石上形成平整的切割面。该主题VI设计通过提取石材的加工特点,将字体用平切的方式展现出来,使所有元素看起来统一且干净利落。

从拿起第一块石器当作工具之时,人类就在自身与动物之间划分了一道分界线,而人类文明的历史也从应用这第一件石器工具开始。猿人通过不断努力发明了打制石器,先民进入旧石器时代;而后他们又通过磨制石器作为工具,这种带有目的性的创造活动让人类在与自然界的斗争中摆脱了被动和无能,一步步取得了改造自然的主动性,标志着人类历史步入新石器时代。


“新石器”本身是一个耳熟能详的专有名词,我们通过重新解构,为石无限产品设计展定制推出全新主题,一语双关,“设计新石器”突出的是“新”,通过现代设计重新赋予石材新的意义,更多的“新石器”将成为符合当代审美和现代生活需求的设计产品,而不仅是作为一种材料。


我们一直致力于将全球优秀的设计师资源和中国优秀的制造产业对接。“设计新石器”不仅呈现国内外设计师经典的石材产品,还将征集50款全新的设计。我们会把征集入围的产品与企业对接将其打样生产出来,和经典的大师产品一起展出呈现。另外,这100款产品我们会制作图册,在展览现场推出。

石材对于人类来说不但是一种材料,也是人类文明演进的见证,人类曾用石材创造出灿烂的文明。作为既古老又现代的材料,石材在中国当代生活中仍占有重要地位,其天然的颜色、肌理、质地塑造了大量传世的不朽之作,但也因其极高的工艺难度为应用带来了许多挑战。

石材,是大自然赠与我们的宝贵礼物,它坚固稳定,并且有着岁月沉积而成的独特花色,在很长一段历史时期里都是最主要的建筑材料,后来随着建筑技术的不断革新,石材已被其他新型建筑材料所替代。但室内装饰行业的蓬勃发展,让石材作为建筑装饰材料被重新大量的使用,并成为高端家居装修的必备材料。所以,现在人们对石材的认知应该都来自满墙满地的装饰板材铺贴。虽然中国大建设的三十年让整个石材装饰行业蓬勃的发展,却反而限制了石材的其他更多可能性。


现在建设发展已经进入新的纪元,各行各业都在往精细化和可持续方向发展。青年设计师王树茂的“设计新石器”为石无限产品设计展带来全新气象“设计”是一切生产的核心动力,一切未经设计过的生产都是耍流氓。“新”是“新时代”“新观念”“新技术”创新结合出的“新形态”。“石器”是以“石”为器,点石成“器”,要通过设计将石材的特性和潜力充分发挥出来,让它更好的为人们使用。本次展览集结了100件“设计新石器”,希望石材不再只是冰冷的建筑和装饰材料,而是能带给我们更多惊喜和温暖的器物。 同时很荣幸能主持展馆的空间设计,十分期待这次展览的呈现。







现场将会以:100件原创石材展区设计论坛企业对接这三个版块进行,以增加设计在石材生产和品牌中的附加值,使之不仅仅聚集于建材领域。

 Babel 台灯

设计品牌:Santa & Cole(西班牙)

设计年份:1971年

产品尺寸:长 40.5 X 直径 30 cm

设计说明:Babel的名字来源于圣经故事中未完工的塔楼,它既是一座坚固的雕塑,也是一盏适合夜间使用的灯。底部使用实心雪花石膏,阴影部分为空心,没有两个单元相同,使Babel成为一件艺术品。


 Iconic 镜子

设计说明:Iconic是一面像雕像一样站立着的镜子。夺目的黑色或白色大理石底座与镜子金属结构的精致形成鲜明对比。一个金属圆柱体连接着底座和镜子这两个部分,带给人一种镜子漂浮起来的假象。

设计说明:Salute系列是混合大理石和金属的边桌。使用时,强烈的视觉效果使其成为标志性扶手椅或沙发的理想伴侣。通过高度和饰面来关联几张桌子,Salute则变成一张大咖啡桌。

设计说明:「尚风」的灵感源于姜太公临江垂钓的画面,「文王梦熊,大风起,姜尚垂钓,渭水边」。立如芝兰玉树,明如朗月入怀,历尽千帆,不坠青云;霁月清风,和光同尘。

设计说明:外形简洁大方,由几何体块交错构成,灵活而且不失沉稳;相互叠加的矩形支撑结构,展现出“建筑概念”般的体量感。

设计说明:行走边桌是一个生动有趣的产品,一整个方形石料通过三次绳锯,得到边桌的基本造型,最后经过人工打磨而成。边桌如同人的双腿迈步行走的姿态,故取名“行走”边桌。造型模拟了材料折弯的外形,形象地表现出大理石柔韧的一面。

设计说明:相互平行且错落有致的桌面及金属框架构成在视觉上形成错落有趣的串联感,桌面上下层均可置物。颜色与材质的碰撞,散发出独特的工业质感和时尚气质。

设计说明:Pose镜是一个美丽而实用的物品。坚固的圆形大理石底座为设计增添了坚固性,并为珠宝或其他个人物品提供了装饰平台。Pose镜正面是一个普通的镜子,反面有一个3倍放大镜。这两个镜像可通过360° 旋转设计轻松切换。


 Arco 落地灯

设计年份:1962年

产品尺寸:长 151-185 × 31.5 × 高 240 cm

设计说明:Arco落地灯凭借其奇特夸张的造型一炮而红,出现在60年代几部流行电影中,成为好莱坞电影中的设计标志。灵感来自当时的意大利路灯,但这款灯比普通的路灯更时尚。Arco灯高达两米多,它长长的不锈钢柄的柔软曲线让明亮的球状头部垂下并聚焦光线。

设计说明:这款欢快优雅的台灯以《Peanuts》中的史努比犬命名,灯罩具有独特的小猎犬般的轮廓。采用实心大理石底座、搪瓷金属反射器和厚玻璃扩散器,制作精良,令人惊叹。顶部的三个冷却孔富有特点,让人联想到保龄球。


 T落地灯

设计品牌:WUU(中国)

设计年份:2017年

产品尺寸:直径 25 × 高 150 cm

设计说明:T落地灯在空间中扮演的平衡室内装饰的角色,常以装饰平衡着功能。在它的设计上,我们着力于体现高雅美感,让它不仅功能考究,更是一座雕塑一般的装饰。这款落地灯经过多次实体模型调整,最终取得在视觉和空间上都最为适合的尺度。极简的几何造型线条流畅,配合无可挑剔的细节,最终实现了所期待的审美追求。

  Dainelli  Studio/意大利 


Dainelli Studio由Leonardo和Marzia Dainelli于2007年成立。一对擅长产品设计的设计师和建筑师分别负责产品设计和室内设计。持续的美学和形式研究是Dainelli工作室的一个显著特点,以精致的设计为形式,注重比例、形状、颜色、材料和表面处理之间的和谐。事实上,每个项目都会蕴含着深厚的设计文化与技术知识的结合以及工业和手工生产过程,与环境和个人建立对话的能力。他们对形象和形式的持续研究——这是Dainelli工作室的一个独特方面——导致了重新设计的具体结果,其基础是完美的比例和形式、材料和材料之间的和谐。


 Santiago Sevillano/西班牙  


西班牙设计师Santiago Sevillano一直以来受雕塑艺术熏陶而多才多艺,涉猎家具、灯具、厨具、器皿等多种设计,曾为Roberti Rattan、Skylinedesign等品牌设计产品。他的工业设计工作室位于圣地亚哥卡拉特拉瓦的艺术之城附近,比邻地中海。他们拥有很多重要的客户,如: 知名设计师品牌HC28、意大利品牌Ghidini、德国品牌Asa Selection、美国品牌Hampton Forge。来自西班牙的Santiago Sevillano,不但具有西班牙文化背景的激情,同时也具备国际化的视野,可以面对不同的环境设计策略,结合新型技术,并用创新的概念与想法达到设计的意义。


 Pierre Alexis-Gilbert/法国  


来自法国的Pierre-Alexis Gilbert毕业于法国雷恩美术学院,曾与法国设计名师Christophe Pillet和Jean-Marie Massaud合作两年,后加入法国殿堂级设计大师Christian Liaigre的团队并工作17年,期间完成了来自波利尼西亚、加拿大、多米尼加、巴黎、瑞士等多个世界各地的住宅、酒店、餐厅项目。2019年,Pierre Alexis在Maison&Objet展出了个人品牌LK Edition。十年的创作沉淀让LK Edition以经典与潮流兼容并序的法国当代主义风格,独有的细节肌理、极致完美的造型呈现,和品质高贵的材料甄选和法国独有技术文化,呈现出卓越的产品系列和室内设计作品。


 Hans Sandgren Jakobsen/丹麦  


来自丹麦的Hans Jakobsen是21世纪最引人注目的设计师,是北欧设计的重要代表,也是唯一获得丹麦政府津贴的设计师。他成功的将北欧内敛的生活方式和高尚的品味结合在一起,创造出清新、隽永、内涵深刻的家具精品。他在25年的设计生涯中,屡获国际杰出设计奖,其中包括德国工业设计著名奖项“IF”奖,先后与曲美、HC28、Xue等国内知名品牌合作。



 Sean Fairman/英国  


在丹麦设计师Morten Georgsen位于西班牙瓦伦西亚的创办的工作室工作多年后,Sean决定回到伦敦的家乡,开始专注于可持续设计的独立道路。他的作品以优雅简洁、功能丰富著称,始终秉承着可持续发展的理念,面向全球家具市场进行创作。Sean的目标是将可持续的家具设计带入商业领域。他目前与多家正在 开发新兴新材料的公司一起从事产品设计,他认为成为一名设计师这是一个令人兴奋的时刻,因为所有市场对可持续性的设计都有着不可否认的需求。“作为一名设计师和消费者,我感觉到我们正在进入一个新的生态时代。”




Archirivolto Design/意大利


Archirivolto Design的两位创始人Claudio Dondoli和Marco Pocci相识于佛罗伦萨建筑学院,大学时期便开始了合作,并于1983年创立Archirivolto设计工作室。合作品牌众多,包括Alice Ceramica、ALIVAR、Bonaldo、Bontempi、Calligaris、Cattelan Italia、CorteZari、 FERMOB、JORI、Ligne Roset、Midj、Quinti Sedute等国际家具品牌。对于Archirivolto Design来说,设计是美、 和谐和自由;设计是没有界限,也不会成为某种特权。技术不仅仅用来创造一个形象,而是为大家提供更好的享受。一个好的设计产品必须是美的,高效和舒适的。



 Vegni Design/意大利  


创始人Giancarlo Vegni出生于1949年,在Cascina的艺术学校学习。从1968年到1975年,他在Ferretti Cucine 工作。Vegni Design是他职业生涯的开始,期间充满了重要的合作、奖项和成就。凭借Effeti Cucine公司的Misura 系列,Giancarlo打造了厨房历史上第一个圆弧形功能模块产品;Officine Star公司制造的名为Duetto的烤箱参加了Compasso d'Oro金圆规奖评选。目前,Vegni Design已经成长为世界知名的专业设计团队,他的作品涵盖了所有的设计领域,其特点是线条整齐、流畅以及几何模块的形式,以及意大利制造的精致风格,Vegni Design的设计受到全世界的赞赏。


 LEEDARSON 设计团队/中国  


LEEDARSON立达信拥有国家级工业设计中心和一支专业、年轻的设计团队。他们深耕设计与技术, 材质与工艺,用设计诠释生活, 基于当代生活方式持续探索重构每一个产品为用户带来更多价值的可能。团队作品接连获得国际顶级设计奖项30余项, 包括“中国好设计”、“德国“iF设计奖”、“德国国家设计大奖”、“红点奖”、“日本G-MARK设计奖”、“法国Muuuz 2019年度国际设计大奖”,以及由美国权威室内设计杂志《INTERIOR DESIGN》主办的“Best of Year(全球最佳设计奖)” 等奖项,积淀了领先业界的创新设计能力。


王蕴涵/中国  


中央美术学院本科,意大利米兰布雷拉美院硕士。

曾任深圳杰恩创意设计股份有限公司(J&A)产品研发部设计总监,负责意大利 Turri 等多个品牌产品研发项目。2019年创立独立工作室,提供家具设计,产品设计,空间设计,装置设计等设计服务。设计理念:将有趣的故事融入到设计语言中,让人们在使用的过程中,可以感受到产品的造型、功能背后的历史或情感。



金 辉/中国  


Atelier Und 由金辉于2020年在杭州创立。沿用德国的工坊(Workshop)辅助设计的体系。花费更多的时间在工坊中研究材料,工艺与产品的关系,并通过制作等比例模型去研究感受材料和产品。Atelier Und 坚持用更理性的方式去调和生活中的冲突, 比如功能, 材料, 环境 , 文化等。用一种最质朴的设计语言去表达意图,最终用设计去温暖和回馈生活。


 本无工作室/中国  


本无工作室(Benwu Studio)成立于2012年,由中国年轻设计师王鸿超和游鹏共同于纽约创立。最初,两位创始人专注于进行材料试验和工艺研究上。直到2015年,随着室内建筑师葛炜,耿鹏龙及产品设计师邓绮云,马天的加入,Benwu成为了一家多领域跨界公司。Benwu 目前分别于北京、上海和纽约都设有办公室,并由多名经验丰富的设计师构成,曾获《安邸AD》2016 “中国最佳设计新星”。


WUU/中国  


由概念、深化、结构、生产论证全员编制构成的「WUU设计组」是 WUU 核心设计驱动,持续围绕物与精神、设计与制造、产品与用户展开工作。

创立于2014年,作为中国具有代表性的独立设计品牌,WUU 通过对材料工艺的深入研究与日用需求的审美升级,在考量功能的同时亦雕琢形态,使产品具有良好体验与独特形式感。

数字艺术家,毕业于广州美术学院工业设计专业,其2015年一直致力于数字化设计,3D打印应用设计开发。其设计作品《梦蝶篇》吊灯和《万物生长》衣帽架,在2016年米兰设计周卫星沙龙中备受关注。并先后参与设计《黑缎》大尺度3D打印家具座椅,上海 DNA咖啡厅天际线系列吊顶,爱情公寓大电影道具设计制作,全国首款全3D打印古典小提琴设计,恒大童世界沙盘设计制作建筑模型优化设计,世茂江门碧海银湖湾户外大型雕塑灯具设计等。并先后担任广州美术学院家具设计工作室毕业设计导师,清华大学,同济大学助理教师,美国南加州建筑学院上海分校资深教师。并于2016年参加米兰卫星沙龙展,上海意思设计展,广州设计之春家具设计展。

1985年出生于湖南湘潭,专注设计与传统美学的思索、工艺与材质的考究,文化与哲学的积淀——以产品为媒介,诠释现代东方精神。2011年创立弗居forgotong原创家居品牌。以设计为导向,  专注于中国禅意空间产品美学研究,打造中国精神文化原创家居第一品牌。其作品先后获得德国红点奖、IF奖、台湾金点奖、韩国首尔奖 “为大众设计” 奖、中国红星奖、第十一届全国美展、第十二届全国美展、第十三届全国美展等国际国内180多项大奖。

2012年和中央美术学院一同参加米兰设计周;2013年4月弗居forgotong以中国禅意香道参加意大利米兰设计周,此后2014至2022年,弗居forgotong皆以中国禅意香道多次再现意大利米兰设计周。2013年9月弗居forgotong全新亮相上海国际家居展及上海时尚家居展。此后2014至2022年,弗居forgotong多次参加上海国际家居展。2013年成立谷畗GUFOR 独立研究室 —— “一亩三分地”土地计划。2018年参加卢志荣营工作营。2021参加厦门石无限展。

师从清华美院家具研究所于历战教授和国际著名华人设计师卢志荣,个人收藏有上千件原版设计,深谙现代设计美学及制作工艺,大学期间学业绩点和综合绩点均为学院年级第一,曾获中国教育部国家奖学金,校一等奖学金等12次,设计作品曾获中国设计奖年度至尊奖,德国红点奖,德国 IF 设计奖,台湾金点奖, 中国设计智造大奖,中国红星奖未来之星奖(全国两名),《 AD安邸 》杂志2020中国设计新星等专业竞赛120多项。作品参加意大利米兰家具展,瑞典斯德哥尔摩家具展,设计上海,设计之春等展览40余次。


担任中国家博会 “ D2M Lab 设计样 ” 总策展人,厦门国际石材展“ 石无限 X 设计新石器 ”主题展总策展人和多个城市设计周家具版块策展人。

To explore the trend of stone industry, get insight into the market and industry changes. The 23rd China Xiamen International Stone Fair will be held on June 5-8, 2023 at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center.


As one of the world’s leading stone fairs, Xiamen Stone Fair is not only a key benchmark of the global stone industry, but also an important platform for enterprises to seek cooperation and communication.


In the new normal, sectors including the upstream and downstream industrial chain, architecture, design, media platform and institutions will gather in Xiamen to jointly focus on, discuss and promote high-quality development of the stone industry.


In 2023, two featured design exhibitions - Habitat Interior Design Exhibition and “Stone Infinite X Stone Design in New Period” theme exhibition will be concurrently held at Xiamen Stone Fair.


The chief curator of Habitat Interior Design Exhibition 2023 is Steve Leung collaborating with co-curators including Jason Lai, Amy Du, Liu Heng, Liu Daohua, Leo Zhang, Alex Zhu, Epin Zhao, Tony Ho and Shen Kaohua. They will deconstruct stone in design and define stone through life.


The post-90s emerging designer Femo Wong will be the main curator of "Stone Infinite X Stone Design in New Period" theme exhibition to promote the stone industry by connecting young designers and stone manufacturers.


From space to products as well as design to scenes, the two exhibitions will present research and innovation on the trends of material application and material products, so as to boost industrial upgrading.

As a gift from the nature, stone is unique in the field of architecture and art.


In the domestic market, stone is mainly used in the building's interior and exterior decorative panels, architectural stone and stone carvings, carved stone artwork and other fields.


Influenced by the demand for interior decoration, stone has been increasingly used in the daily home environment.


According to statistics, the output value of China's decoration industry currently accounts for about 15% of the country's total GDP; in the future, the annual consumption of stone in China will not be less than 260 million square meters. Thus, “stone” will become a potential share of the domestic consumer market, continuing to see a robust growth.



However, the traditional application of stone in home decoration has been difficult to meet the new generation of consumer habits and aesthetic needs, which also makes it difficult for many stone enterprises to break through or tap new sources of growth and even remain stalled.


How can traditional stone enterprises find ways of transformation and upgrading accurately and effectively to break stereotypes of stone and carry out Blue Ocean Strategy? How can designers network with high-quality material suppliers and manufacturers to complete good design works and realize their design vision?

Overall, despite the booming domestic furniture industry, there are still many problems and difficulties in the interface between independent designers and manufacturers due to the trial-and-error costs, inherent patterns, and deviations in design understanding that exist in the industry.

 

"Stone Infinite X Stone Design in New Period" theme exhibition hopes to solve two major problems with this exhibition.

 

The core value of “Stone Design in New Period” also lies in promoting creative transactions: designers provide creative inspiration as well as creative solutions to enterprises in the build of more innovative models for the application of stone and product upgrades.

 

Only the feasibility is achieved that creative ideas can be transformed to good products, and good products will enhance the value of the enterprises continuously. Therefore, this is not only an exhibition but also an ecological closed-loop experiment of two-way empowerment of designers and manufacturers.

The image design of the new theme concept is inspired by the principle of stone processing - raw stone is processed by machine cutting, which will present a flat cutting surface. The visual identity is designed by extracting the processing characteristics of the stone with the font be presented in a flat-cutting way, which makes all elements look uniform and neat.

When picking up stone as a tool for the first time, human beings drew a dividing line between themselves and animals, and the history of human civilization began with the application of this first stone tool. Ancestors entered the Paleolithic Age through the continuous efforts of apes who invented the beaten stone tools; then they polished stoneware as tools, which allowed humans to get rid of incompetence in the struggle with the nature and to gain the initiative to transform the nature step by step, marking human history into the Neolithic Age.


The “neolithic” itself is a familiar proper noun. We re-deconstruct and launch a new theme for the Stone Infinite Product Design Show. As a pun, “Stone Design in New Period” highlights the “new”, through modern design to give new meaning to stone. More “new stone design” will become design products in line with contemporary aesthetics and modern life needs, rather than just as a material.


We have been committed to connecting the world's best designer resources with China's best manufacturing industry. “Stone Design in New Period” will not only present the classic stone products of domestic and foreign designers, but also collect 50 new designs. We will match the shortlisted products with enterprises to produce samples and display them together with the classic master products. In addition, these 100 products will be included in a catalog and presented at the exhibition site.

Due to its natural color, texture and quality, stone has been used in a large number of magnificent works. However, the difficulties in its processing technique result in many challenges for the application.


The perseverance of practitioners in the stone industry has allowed many ancient skills to be passed on; and the participation of more and more designers has injected vitality and new ideas into this field, exploring a broader direction of development. Stone, a precious gift from the nature, is strong and stable, and has a unique color deposited over the years. For a long period, it is the most important building material, then with the continuous innovation of construction technology, stone has been replaced by other new building materials. But thanks to the booming development of the interior decoration industry, stone is used again in large quantities, and becomes a necessary material for high-end home decoration. So, now people's impression of stone should all come from the wall and floor full of decorative sheet paving. China's great construction in the past three decades led the whole stone decoration industry to a booming development, but limited its possibilities of application on the other hand.


Now construction has entered a new era, all industries are moving in the direction of refinement and sustainability. Young designer Femo Wong’s “Stone Design in New Period” brings a new image to the Stone Infinite Product Design Show. “Design” is the core power of all production. “New” is a combination of “new era”, “new concept” and “new technology” which becomes a “new form”. “Period” is pronounced like “Stone tool” in Chinese. The exhibition aims to bring out the characteristics and potential of stone through design, and make it better for use. This exhibition will collect 100 pieces of new stone design, hoping to present more surprises and warmth rather than a cold building and decorative material. I am also honored to be in charge of the space design of the exhibition, and looking forward to it.







The exhibition will be structured in three sections: 100 pieces of original stone design exhibition area, design forum, and enterprises matchmaking - to increase the added value of design in stone production and branding, rather than focusing on the field of building materials.

Babel Table Lamp

Design Description: Taking its name from the unfinished biblical tower, Babel is both a solid sculpture and a light suitable for nighttime use. The use of solid alabaster on the base and hollow alabaster on the shade, with no two units identical, makes Babel a work of art.

Design Description: Iconic is a mirror that proudly stands as a statue. The white or black marble base pedestal supports a thin metal structure. The mirror seems to float above the base while an horizontal metal cylinder intersects both parts.

Design Description: The inspiration of "Shangfeng" comes from the image of Jiang Tai Gong fishing by the river, "King Wen dreamed of a bear, then a strong wind rose, Jiang Shang was fishing by the Wei River". It stands as a jade tree, bright as the moon.

Design Description: Pose Mirror is a beautiful and practical object for everyday use. A round, solid marble base lends sturdiness to the design and offers a decorative platform for jewelry or other personal items. Pose Mirror features a regular mirror on one side, and a 3x magnification mirror on the other. The 360° swivel design allows for easy switching between the two mirrored sides.


Arco Floor Lamp

Design Description: Arco Floor Lamp became an instant hit with its quirky and exaggerated shape, appearing in several popular films in the 1960s and becoming a design icon in Hollywood movies. Inspired by the Italian street lamps of the time, but more stylish than ordinary street lamps, the Arco stands more than two meters tall, and the soft curves of its long stainless steel stem allow the bright, bulbous head to hang down and focus the light.

Design Description: Named after Snoopy from Peanuts, this cheerful and elegant table lamp features a shade with a distinctive beagle-like silhouette. Featuring a solid marble base, enamel metal reflector, and a thick glass diffuser, it is stunningly well crafted. The three cooling holes at the top are rich in character and reminiscent of a bowling ball.

Dainelli Studio / Italy


Founded in 2007 by Leonardo and Marzia Dainelli, Dainelli Studio is a Milan-based architecture firm with a dual soul: product and interior design.
Their ongoing research on image and form - a distinctive aspect of Dainelli Studio - leads to concrete results of refined design, based on perfectly gauged proportions and harmony between forms, materials and finishes. Every project embodies in-depth design culture with knowledge of industrial production techniques and craftsmanship.


Santiago Sevillano / Spain


Spanish designer Santiago Sevillano has always been versatile in the art of sculpture and has worked on furniture, lighting, kitchenware and utensils, designing products for brands such as Roberti Rattan and Skylinedesign. His industrial design studio is located near the City of Arts in Calatrava, Santiago, next to the Mediterranean Sea. They have many important clients such as Italian brand Ghidini, German brand Asa Selection, and American brand Hampton Forge.Santiago Sevillano, from Spain, has a passion for Spanish culture, but also an international vision to design strategies for different environments, incorporating new technologies and using innovative concepts and ideas to achieve design meaning.


Pierre Alexis-Gilbert / France


Pierre Alexis-Gilbert graduated from Ecole régionale des beaux-arts de Rennes, France. He worked with French design masters Christophe Pillet and Jean-Marie Massaud for two years, then joined the team of French hall of fame designer Christian Liaigre and worked for 17 years, during which time he completed many residential, hotel and restaurant projects from Polynesia, Canada, Dominica, Paris, Switzerland and other parts of the world.In 2019, Pierre Alexis presents his personal brand LK Edition at Maison&Objet, where a decade of creativity has allowed LK Edition to present an exceptional collection of products and interiors in a contemporary French style that is both classic and trendy, with unique details of texture and perfection of shape, as well as the selection of high-quality materials and the unique French technical culture. product line and interior design works.


Hans Sandgren Jakobsen / Danmark


Hans Jakobsen from Denmark is the most striking designer of the 21st century, a key representative of Scandinavian design and the only designer to have received a Danish government grant. He has successfully combined the Nordic introverted lifestyle with high-class taste to create fresh, timeless and visceral furniture pieces. In his 25 years of design career, he has won many international outstanding design awards, including the famous German industrial design award "IF" award, and has worked with domestic famous brands such as Qumei, HC28 and Xue.



Sean Fairman / UK


After working for many years in the studio founded by Danish designer Morten Georgsen in Valencia, Spain, Sean decided to return home to London and embark on an independent path focused on sustainable design. His work is known for its elegant simplicity and functionality, always with the idea of sustainability in mind, and created for the global furniture market, Sean’s goal is to bring sustainable furniture design into the commercial world. He currently works in product design with several companies that are developing new and emerging materials, and sees it as an exciting time to be a designer because there is an undeniable demand for sustainable design in all markets. “As a designer and a consumer, I feel like we are entering a new eco-age.”




Archirivolto Design / Italy


The two founders of Archirivolto Design, Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci, met at the Florence School of Architecture and began working together during their university years, founding the Archirivolto design studio in 1983. He has collaborated with many brands, including Alice Ceramica, ALIVAR, Bonaldo, Bontempi, Calligaris, Cattelan Italia, CorteZari, FERMOB, JORI, Ligne Roset, Midj, Quinti Sedute and other international furniture brands. . For Archirivolto Design, design is beauty, harmony and freedom; design is without boundaries and does not become some kind of privilege. Technology is not just used to create an image, but to provide better enjoyment for everyone. A good design product must be beautiful, efficient and comfortable.



Vegni Design / Italy


Founder Giancarlo Vegni was born in 1949 and studied at the art school in Cascina. From 1968 to 1975 he worked at Ferretti Cucine. Vegni Design was the beginning of a career full of important collaborations, awards and achievements. With the Misura line from Effeti Cucine, Giancarlo created the first round functional module in the history of the kitchen; the oven called Duetto, made by Officine Star, was selected for the Compasso d’Oro Golden Roundel Award. Nowadays, Vegni Design has grown into a world-renowned team of design professionals, whose work covers all areas of design, characterized by neat and smooth lines and geometric modular forms, as well as the refined style of Made in Italy, Vegni Design’s designs are appreciated all over the world.

LEEDARSON has a national industrial design center and a professional and young design team. They are deeply involved in design and technology, material and technology, interpreting life by design, and continuously exploring the possibility of reconstructing each product to bring more value to users based on contemporary lifestyle. Doris Wang / China


Bachelor’s degree from Central Academy of Fine Arts, Master’s degree from Accademia di belle arti di Brera, Milan, Italy.

She was the design director of the product R&D department of Shenzhen Jiang&Associates Creative Design Co., Ltd. (J&A), responsible for many brand product R&D projects such as Turri in Italy. 2019, she founded an independent studio, providing design services such as furniture design, product design, space design and installation design. Design concept: Integrate interesting stories into the design language so that people can feel the history or emotion behind the shape and function of the product during the process of using it.



Jin Hui / China


Atelier Und was founded by Jin Hui in Hangzhou in 2020. Atelier Und follows the German system of workshop-assisted design. Atelier Und insists on a more rational way to reconcile the conflicts in life, such as function, material, environment and culture. Atelier Und uses the simplest design language to express its intentions, and ultimately uses design to warm and give back to life.


Benwu Studio / China


Benwu Studio was founded in 2012 by young Chinese designers Wang Hongchao and You Peng in New York City. Initially, the two founders focused on conducting material experiments and process research. Until 2015, with the addition of interior architects Wei Ge, Geng Penglong and product designers Qiyun Deng and Tian Ma, Benwu became a multi-disciplinary firm. Benwu currently has offices in Beijing, Shanghai and New York respectively, and consists of several experienced designers.


WUU / China


“WUU Design Group”, which is composed of concept, deepening, structure and production demonstration, is the core design driver of WUU, and continues to work around object and spirit, design and manufacturing, product and user.

Li Xuanji / China


Digital artist, graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in industrial design, whose 2015 has been dedicated to digital design, 3D printing application design development. His design works “Dream Butterfly” pendant lamp and “All Things Grow” coat rack, which got much attention in the satellite salon of Milan Design Week in 2016. He has also participated in the design of “Black Satin” large-scale 3D printing furniture seats, Shanghai DNA Cafe skyline series ceiling, iPartment movie prop design and production, the first full 3D printing classical violin design.



Peng Zhong / China


Born in 1985 in Xiangtan, Hunan Province, he focuses on design and traditional aesthetic thinking, craftsmanship and materials, cultural and philosophical accumulation - using products as a medium to interpret the modern oriental spirit. In 2011, he founded the “FORGOTONG” original home brand. Design-oriented, focused on the aesthetic research of Chinese Zen space products, to create the first brand of Chinese spiritual culture original home. His works have won more than 180 international and domestic awards, including German Red Dot Award, iF Design Awards, Taiwan’s Golden Pin Design Award, Seoul Award “Design for the Public”, China Red Star Design Award, the 11th National Exhibition of Fine Arts, the 12th National Exhibition of Fine Arts, and the 13th National Exhibition of Fine Arts.

Femo Wong

A post-90s emerging designer and curator; As the founder of Femo Design Studio


He has studied under Professor Yu lizhan from Furniture Research Institute of Academy of Arts&Design, Tsinghua University and Chi Wing Lo, an internationally renowned Chinese designer. Femo Wong has thousands of original design works in his personal collection and is well versed in modern design aesthetics and production techniques. During college years, his academic grade point average and comprehensive grade point average were both the first in the grade. Besides, he also has been awarded the National Scholarship of the Ministry of Education of China and the first prize scholarship of college and other scholarships for 12 times. The works designed by him have won awards in more than 120 professional competitions such as the Annual Best of the Best Award of Kapok Design Awards China, German Red Dot Award, German iF Product Design Award, Taiwan’s Golden Pin Design Award, China Design Intelligence Award, the Future Star Award of China Red Star Design Award (two in China), 2020 Emerging Chinese Designer of ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST. Furthermore, his works have participated in Salone Internationale del Mobile di Milano, Stockholm Furniture Fair in Sweden, Design Shanghai, Design Spring and so on for more than 40 times.


In addition to being the chief curator of “D2M Lab” of China International Furniture Fair and “Stone Infinite X Stone Design in New Period” theme exhibition of China Xiamen International Stone Fair, he is also the curator of furniture section of many urban design weeks.


Meanwhile, he is the vice chairman of the Interior Design Committee of the China Building Materials Circulation Association, a member of the Design Working Committee of the China Furniture Association, the executive director of the B&B Industry Branch of Architecture and Culture Society of China, and also a contributing editor for the design column of Nanfang Daily.
